I’ve always been drawn to what remains unsaid. As a journalist, I’ve grown accustomed to unpacking phenomena that are complex and misunderstood. I’m fascinated by the topics people don’t speak about aloud – and by what the stories built around them reveal about us.
Six years ago, I had an idea I couldn’t shake: what if we created Finland’s first lubricant containing CBD? I wanted a product that would show intimacy can be just as aesthetic and natural as any other skincare ritual. The idea lingered, took root, and over time grew into one of Blank&’s very first products.
When I officially joined the team at the start of the summer, I felt as though I was stepping into a story whose seed I had helped plant years earlier. I knew instantly that Blank& is more than skincare and aesthetics – it’s a conversation starter and a meaningful shift toward a time when CBD is seen as a natural part of skincare and holistic wellbeing.
Etna lubricant is a perfect example. It began with a simple question: why do products designed to enhance pleasure so often contain plastic and skin-damaging chemicals? Why do they still look like something to be hidden away? We turned to nature for the answer – to the calming power of CBD – and gave the product a name that is both fiery and tender. Today, our CBD lubricants have become one of the most sought-after intimate products of summer 2025.
As Content Director, I make sure every word and image at Blank& is as intentional as its ingredients. I want everyone who encounters us to feel just a little braver – and to discover a side of themselves they’ve never before brought into the light.
